Psychological Assessment

Psychological evaluations for children ages 6-17 are individualized to meet the needs of the client. Evaluations are helpful when more information is needed to better understand academic, cognitive, social-emotional or behavioral functioning. Evaluations are also requested to clarify a possible Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) diagnosis. Information is collected from multiple sources (e.g., child, parent, teachers) and is used to help develop interventions. Our psychologists will provide you with a comprehensive written report of the results of the evaluation and treatment recommendations. The evaluation can assist in planning a child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Intervention plan for school accommodations and collaboration with school counselors, teachers, and intervention specialists.
